belfastguzzi Posted October 13, 2010 Posted October 13, 2010 Brill!! First ride report on 1200 Dorso V Twin!! First ride report on new Speed Triple!! First ride report on Guzzi V7 'Racer' *cough* 1200: 90° V-twin engine with four valves per cylinder, double overhead camshaft, liquid cooling and twin spark ignition; 136bhp and 85lb/ft.
belfastguzzi Posted October 21, 2010 Author Posted October 21, 2010 Anyone? They're a bit drooly over the Speed Triple alright. £8599 1200 Dorsoduro £9799 They didn't do the V7 Guzzi as promised. Next week, they say.
belfastguzzi Posted October 29, 2010 Author Posted October 29, 2010 The one and threequarters page spread appears this week. Guzzi V7 Racer is the new King of Cool headline all 49bhp (claimed) Fotunately it is 'achingly cool'. You need a generous helping of rear brake as well as front to slow you down. It brings rose-tinted, romantic visions of riding through Italian villages and mountain passes on an Italian V-twin Guzzi to life and it's small enough for shorter riders to be able to place both feet flat on the floor (to push it along perhaps?).
The Monkey Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 I am flat out of roses! Wish new bikes didnt have so much awful plastic. Much as I dig V-twins, I would choose the Triumph, remove that headlight appendage, put it on my head for Halloween and go out as a Guzzi Coelacanth! Hmmm... I would pack a battery, It would work! Now that is a trick.
belfastguzzi Posted October 30, 2010 Author Posted October 30, 2010 ... headlight appendage, put it on my head for Halloween and go out as a Guzzi Coelacanth! That's known as The Terblanche Concept, right?
