Greybeard Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 Hope everyone had a good summer. I'm interested in installing a Motogadget unit on my '03( http://www.spieglerusa.com/motogadget/motoscopeminipage.cfm ) and am wondering if there are any pitfalls associated with this? In the back of my mind I seem to have formed a hopefully irrational fear that so many things are associated with the speedometer I might just blown the whole damn thing up! I'm also considering a different headlight too if that would have any bearing. Anyone have experience with Motogadget? ............now that I read that last sentence I think I asked this here once before! Well, maybe there's new folk here. Amuse an old man then, eh?
GuzziMoto Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Are you looking at the MotoScope Mini or the MotoScope Tiny? I have not tried them, honestly they don't appeal to me. Electrosport was selling some really cool all in one gauges, and I plan on buying one but they seem to have run into some issues and are currently on hold. I hope they are able to resolve the issues and continue selling them again. I liked the clean look of one gauge that would replace both and then some.

Yes, the Mini. I'd like to execute a design which involves cleaning up the front end quite a bit and I'd like the display as small as possible. But my major concern is in eliminating the stock speedo & tach. Wondering if that would have any unsuspected influence on any other circuitry or device.
