Guzzirider Posted March 19, 2011 Author Posted March 19, 2011 It was recorded in the dyno yesterday. Speedo is pretty accurate cos she revved out at 140mph in top gear- I was expecting something along the lines of 130mph!
Guzzirider Posted March 19, 2011 Author Posted March 19, 2011 No wind resistance making the difference? Exactly Keith! My V11 also did 140mph on the dyno but on the road I never got it past 140mph on the speedo which read very optimistically. Bends are more fun anyway!
richard100t Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 I have gotten mine to 140 in the past. I have even gotten it a good bit faster than that going downhill . I'm not sure if I'm just getting older or wiser or I care less about the top end, but I rarely break the ton anymore.
mo-biker Posted September 24, 2012 Posted September 24, 2012 My cali ev did 122mph with a big screen according to my sat nav on a flat motorway, dunno what the speedo said,I was too scared to look down. My scura did 139mph in the same place speedo read about 145, and my aprilia futura does 157 and not a jot more. BUT as it has been said many times before by many people, its not about how fast it goes.
LowRyter Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 maybe 105-110 with a large windsheild......120 stripped bike, face on the tank how fast will my V11 Sport go? 130?
jihem Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 I took my ol' 1979 Calif T3 up to 180 kmh, two up. But it was rather shaky at that speed....
