MY16M ignition cuttings

Hi,

 

I have a 1998 1100 sport I

 

I've just installed the system of cliff jefferies My16m (I bought it 2 years ago but I didn't take time to install) with oxygen sensor and LC1 wide band controller.

 

I've got several problems:

 

-idle is not stable.

-as soon i try to open the throttle at the max position, the engine stop until the moto is at stop or there are some explosions at the exhausts.

 

Unfortunately, i could'nt try my motorbike with the original ECU , it is HS (It was the reason, I bought My16m)

 

I live in Belgium , is someone can help me.?

Cliff has a forum, some quick searches there will most likely yield you some good information. Several other members from here are also active there.

 

From your initial post you did not indicate if you have made any change to the mapping in MyECU. The map that Cliff provides is close for most, but in some cases it may take considerable work to get it right.

Yes, post on the MyECU site. They sorted mine out pretty quick.
