Count me in for one of the Lemans screens. I've installed taller bar risers and now have helmet buffering above 85 - 90 MPH. J. Barnes G-Town, Ky.

I had already bought a Laminar Lip for my LeMans

It deflected alot of wind but at the cist of increased noise. :homer:

So being the inventve Guzzi Owner that I am, I moved it down one set of holes from where the pic showed it on the directions and it deflected the air and reduced the noise to an acceptable level. Great on long trips.

Looks a little funky but kind of cool too. :mg::bike:

OK, That didn't take to long. All I have left at this point is a clear windscreen. :huh2: If others are interested, I will put together a list and order some more.I had hoped to get a better deal, but as Docc stated on his swingarm, shipping from the old country ain't cheap. I'll check back! :mg:

E-mail me when they come in......Jeff H.-Detroit,MI.

So, I got my "smoke" colored screen installed tonight before the Alices meet, and it works like a charm

It's very well made, and fit perfectly without any drama. The edging is also well made, although not shown in the photos on the first page of this thread. All-in-all a top-notch kit!

Although a bit pricey, if you are looking for a taller screen, I heartily recommend this one.

I couldn't wait to put mine on.

I have the tinted and thought it would be too dark, but I was wrong. :o

Perfect fit and looks great. My little bit I could ride between snow storms

it sends the air over the top of my helmit perfectly. :)

Thanks again Andy!

...BTW, also wanted to note that the "lines" of the new windscreen are very complimentary to that of the fairing IMHO

It is taller, ergo perhaps less "sporty" looking than the stock unit, but it looks like a factory piece, and is very stylish.

Hey Andy,

Get that list together yet? Waiting to here from ya. Not in any hurry, still a foot of snow on the ground. Just don't want to miss out on the next order  Like I said, I'll take a smoke one.

Thanks again............Jeff H.

Count me in for a tinted screen as well. :D

By the way, anyone having any feedback on wind protection vs the stock screen?

Posted

....well, the stock screen wasn't "awful" for me since I am 5'8" tall, but the new one definitely created a larger pocket of still air, and my helmet is more-or-less totally in calm air now.

Has anybody in the UK managed to locate one of these screens? I am keen to get one but can't find the model for the Le Mans (in fact any mention at all of Moto Guzzi) either listed on the MRA site/shop (which appears to be only for domestic German customers) or in the catalogues of any of the UK distributors listed on that site.

Thanks in advance
