I enjoyed a nice ride to the Tan Hill Inn today, a 200 mile round trip for lunch taking in some of the best roads in the Yorkshire Dales and Trough Of Bowland.

 

It is Britain's highest Inn, and you can camp there if you dont mind your tent blowing away cos its always very windy up there. I was joined by Gutsibits Ed, who was riding his LM111 Bitsa:

neat photos. looks like great riding roads. yeah, it looks windy with the hanging sign on an angle.

are those the official greeters on either side of yer helmet?

Britain's highest Inn? Strewth, time you got there you two musta been

so hungry you could've eaten the crutch out've a fly-blown sheep!

 

Er, wait a minute, those ewes look much too content... say, what part of

the country is that inn?
