cracked rear shock on my v11 lemans

When i changed my rear tire on my 04 v11 lemans last week i was looking around up at the swingarm and noticed i have a crack in the rod end at the rear of the shock.

Does anyone know what shock is on this bike and if i can buy the rod end?

My owner's manual doesn't say what it is.

It's Sachs Boge. Don't know if you can change the rod. I would opt for aftermarket, f.i.: Öhlins, Wilbers, Penske.

had mine rebuilt with Showa internals, any good shock rebuilder can do this for about 1/3 price of an AM or OEM replacement. WP used to crack as wekk, mine did.

Another option is HyperPro - have been happy with my rear shock from them on my V11 Sport.
