ScuRoo Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Watch this & imagine the ride... Say fella's. This development is exciting - piston's, shaft-drive - thrusting Moto Guzzi light years forward. Modern packaging of old-school proven elements - but even better than Guzzi's W103 3-cylinder motor. Would you ride tomorrow?

Tom M Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 The Kneeslider did a little writeup on that motor a few days ago. It will be interesting to see how it pans out but I don't see it in a motorcycle anytime soon. http://thekneeslider.com/archives/2011/09/08/duke-engines-5-cylinder-4-stroke-3-injector-valveless-axial-engine/#more-16087
luhbo Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 ... but I don't see it in a motorcycle anytime soon.... somewhere else neither. It's such an old idea. In the seventies you could buy russian model engines quite similar to this. Probably it's the case that some old patents have become free now. It's some nice animation, not more. Hubert
