belfastguzzi Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 Looky here.Who says a liquid-cooled bike can't look good? http://enigma1050.co.uk/ Interesting. I've just asked them what their aim is, in terms of bringing the bike to market.
Guzzirider Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Looks credible unlike a lot of these projects. I like it- that 1050 motor is a peach too and will be quick in a light bike.
Baldini Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Looks very nice. Good luck to them. Wonder how far down the road it is - that pic looks to be a photoshop job. Reputable people involved. Not sure if the name bodes well....hope it materialises. Will Triumph sell them the motors? Here's another one, of a slightly different ilk, but British as British can be ...& made in real metal: http://www.motorcyclelive.co.uk/manufacturers/metisse-motorcycles/ Looks like someone fitted the header pipe upside down - ground clearance problems...
Baldini Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Or you could have one of these Foggy Petronas FP1's - Made in Essex! In MCN this week there's a story on a Swiss bloke who's got access to a bunch of them & will do you one for around £33,000. Otherwise they're apparently destined for the crusher.
Skeeve Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 will do you one for around £33,000. Otherwise they're apparently destined for the crusher. Interesting pricing model. "I'd rather crush them if I can't overcharge for'em." Heh.
