Guest John T Posted December 10, 2003 Posted December 10, 2003 @ John: But you haven't got a Öhlins fork! Guess who has one for sale in a month or so? Email me for more info. Oh yeah!?!? Well you don't have light Dymags do ya there! Besides, what's the matter with the forks I have? Don't shun them just because they were for a Ducati Oh boy this could turn into an expensive pissing match! Who has the most modded Guzzi out there!
al_roethlisberger Posted December 10, 2003 Posted December 10, 2003 I don't think I'd win, or want to try Zeb and Paul are way ahead in that game I think....
Guest WildJackal Posted December 10, 2003 Posted December 10, 2003 Ooh ooh, cool lil fairing. Who makes those? (ya, I'm all show and no go ... )
Guest John T Posted December 10, 2003 Posted December 10, 2003 Standard fairing on most of the sports. I'm actually gonna take mine off and see how it looks, I like the bike really "naked"
Guest dkgross Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 poop. I don't have the USB version. And there's nobody in washington or oregon that's a certified Dyno place that will do a custom map on a guzzi (plenty of them if you have a Harley..grrrr) Micha at Moto I does a damn fine job tuning by hand, but I'd sure love the extra tweakness of the USB one. Guess there's just gonna have to be a California Road Trip this summer, eh?
Gio Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 And there's nobody in washington or oregon that's a certified Dyno place that will do a custom map on a guzzi I think I recall some mention of a place in Richmond, BC that has such facilities...? Any other "locals" care to comment? Gio
Guest gooddog Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 hey Dave, the dynojet site lists Performance Dyno in Bremerton. the link however is for Mike Velasco Racing. I think there is hope for us Northwesterners yet. I chatted with Two Wheel Drift today. They don't stock Guzzi PC111's as they don't sell many at all. they do order from dyno jet on a regular basis, and are checking on the availability of the Usb units. I would imagine that if you can download a map for your stock bike, or for your particular mods, any pc111 usb that will connect to the efi computer should work.
Guest dkgross Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 if you can get the Bremerton folks to do a Guzzi, I'd be surprized. They didn't seem interested when I called them. I've talked to Moto I about becoming 'certified', but they don't have the space for the machine (and, it's darned pricey).
