hoytstaab Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 hello - I saw this photo on the Cafe Racer blog. It appears to be a well executed kit for the Griso. It looks great from what you can see. Sorry, the blog didn't have any more photos or details. Anyone have information?
Baldini Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 It's called Ipothesys...some more photos & divided opinion in this thread: http://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=51458.0 That thread says it's a Rossopuro bike but I don't see it on the Rossopuro website...
hoytstaab Posted January 25, 2012 Author Posted January 25, 2012 Thanks...looks great aside from the pipe. Guzzi Tech has some content about a fairing from Stucchi and I found this link: http://lookathesign.blogspot.com/2011/11/carena-griso-by-stucchi-sketches.html updated... this link has good photos http://www.rocket-garage.blogspot.com/2012/01/ipothesys.html
Baldini Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 There's more photos but v little info here: http://supacustom.com/ipothesys/ & more here: http://www.motoblog.it/post/34993/due-chiacchiere-con-officine-rossopuro (Italian)
Slavomir Musilek (R.I.P.) Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Stuchi Luigi is preparing half faired kit for Griso, they had some previews available on Eicma in Milano 2011. let's wait and see.
Guzzisport Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 WOW ! At last a Guzzi that looks like it means business. I can understand many here not liking this because the Guzzi niche has been formed by its somewhat staid and non sporty bikes over the years. However there are many out there that would move over to Guzzi if the package was more up to date and offered a higher level of performance. Emailed Rossopuro with no response. (Italians! go figure!) Anyone know anything else about this bike?
belfastguzzi Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Maybe looks better in reality. In photos it looks somewhat like a bus has been crossed with a tractor and then a giant anvil has been dropped on it. Could it be that Moto Guzzi's Griso design & development work actually did result in something that is unique, special and pretty much right (90%) as a design? Seems so. Anyway, good to see other ideas and experimentation.
abouc Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 Thanks...looks great aside from the pipe. Guzzi Tech has some content about a fairing from Stucchi and I found this link: http://lookathesign.blogspot.com/2011/11/carena-griso-by-stucchi-sketches.html I quite like the F and G sketches. All the Griso is missing is a "Le Mans" version with fairing and it would be an ideal candidate for my next all-purpose bike.

Skeeve Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 hello - I saw this photo on the Cafe Racer blog. It appears to be a well executed kit for the Griso. It looks great from what you can see. Sorry, the blog didn't have any more photos or details. Anyone have information? Can't really see anything, there's a Sportster in the way... Could this be a bike fitted w/ the Italian Griso-only racing league spec fairing? I can't remember what that looked like, and you can't really see the front of the fairing in this pic...
Baldini Posted March 16, 2012 Posted March 16, 2012 Thanks for the link, Alevfr. How much of this frame is stock Griso? Anyone got a photo of a Griso without tank/panelling to share? KB
pete roper Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Looks like stock G frame to me Keith. Thanks for the hospitality as well Keith! You live in a beautiful place! Regards to family!!! Pete
Baldini Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 Thanks Pete. It was good to see you. Please say hi to Jude, it was a pleasure to meet her KB
jrt Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 It's interesting. A bit too angular for my tastes, but I like that one can still see the motor. That's a proper motorcycle.
