leafman60 Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 Oooooook, guzzists. 02 V11Scura, the left switch housing has a plugged-off area. Is this a location for euro switch etc?? What models have the switch?? Is it available to use for add-on controls???
docc Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 Probably our euro bros can answer more fully. But, I have a friend with Ducati Monster who added euro switchgear which features the 'city light.' This low watt bulb appears to stay lit full time on the US bikes. With the 'Euro switch' you can shut off the H4 bulb and run only the low watt. Here in Lower Middle Mule Town this would be an excellent opportunity to increase your chances of broadsiding a Ford F150, the country's most popular highway obstruction.
al_roethlisberger Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 ...exact-u-mundo But you could use the available switch location to add other functionality like a switch for heated grips, accessory lighting, etc... but it would take some minor surgery in the switch houseing, but it's very 'do-able' An example of a similar application is where one of the guys on the Sport Touring forum installed their Heat-Troller PWM controller for his heated grips inside his FJR control housing. al
leafman60 Posted December 13, 2003 Author Posted December 13, 2003 Who else uses these same controls?? Ducati ?? Who makes them CEV ?? It iss a lamp control (as shown in the manual). Id like to get one of these switches to add.
