v11 2001 engine fitment

hi can any one help please

i am just about to try to fit a 2001 v11 injection engine in to a 1996 v1100 sport frame, will this engine fit or not

probably fits but not with the 6 speed tranny.

I think Carl Allison rebuilt a smashed V11 using a 1100 spine frame. He might have some insight.

As mentioned before, the motor should drop straight in, the 'box would need some 'engineering' - see Paul Minnaerts Fast Guzzi pages for the details, How to V11 Gearbox.
