1/Remove the tail plastic cover

2/Remove the original plate holder and the small subframe

3/Install the Cateye plate holder using the included parts

4/ Connect electric cables as shown in the picture.If in doubt or the cable colors of the light are different, using a multimeter in ohm scale check the continuity to find the earth cable (should be close to zero or zero depending on the accuracy and sensitivity of your devise).The other two cables would have bigger values.

For the other two wires in volt meter scale, one would have always current as 2003+ models have no light switch, and the other would show a reading when you apply the brake as it is controlled by the brake switch.
