gstallons Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Konstantin, If you have oil leaking between the cyl head and cylinder , it is an o-ring below the rocker arm pivot that is leaking..... You do not need to do all the work you are planning.
Onibaka Posted December 31, 2012 Author Posted December 31, 2012 I have a leak with sump gasket, the left cylinder head (it fell on the left side, I am afraid that the cylinder was deformed) and probably transmission gasket. 21439 km were passed by the engine if certainly didn't change
gstallons Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 I have looked at the area you are describing in the picture. Yes , it will be the o-ring I described. Do you have a parts diagram to look at ? You may have gotten them in the parts order you got.
Onibaka Posted December 31, 2012 Author Posted December 31, 2012 I have Parts List if you tell me part number (code) I I think I will understand about what speech. I didn't order this o-ring
gstallons Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 I do not have a parts catalogue or part # in front of me. The shop manual shows these located below the rocker arm assembly. There are 4 total for each side. These become brittle with age and need to be replaced. You do not need to remove the cylinder head to repair this leak. Do you have a service manual ?
fotoguzzi Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 get parts book here, http://thisoldtractor.com/gtbender/moto_guzzi_misc.htm#gtb_spare_parts_catalogs___exploded_parts_diagrams___parts_fiche #21 in pic? part # 907060 94
Dan M Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 If you are still looking for cylinder head guards, Rossopuro still stocks a few V11 models. http://www.rossopuroitalia.it/index.asp?Prd_PrdType_ID=1&Bike_ID=1

-Martin.Glaeser- Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Hi, coming back to the voltage. I did some measurement earlier last year, and this is what I measured at the battery's "PLUS 12V" after i had (1) cleaned and (2) tightened all connectors along the way: alternator > regulator > battery ...13,35 V ... before start ...13,75 V ... idle 1,100 rpm ...13,78 V ... idle 1,100 rpm , with lights on ...13,92 V ... 4,000 rpm ...14,36 V ... 5,000 rpm . with lights on Happy new year -M-
Onibaka Posted January 8, 2013 Author Posted January 8, 2013 -Martin.Glaeser-, Thank you, it will help me!
