hey Meinolf, all of those .bin files that were in that dropbox are no longer available, as that dropbox folder no longer exists (404 error when I click on that link). Do you know if it was re-posted somewhere?

I am learning how to use the Tunerpro software, would like to practice on some .bin files **before** I actually connect to my bike for real...

I you, or anyone else, can point me to a .bin file for a stock 2001 V11 Sport Naked with no lambda sensor, that would be really awesome.

Thank you!

Is there some reason the mysterious .bin files cannot be stored in this website's "FileShare" for simple access?

Thanks Gelos!

No reason why not, the file sizes are tiny.

I'm in the same boat as sp838 as far as learning the software. Hoping to get mine on the dyno and tune it in the next month or two. Would love to play with a stock map a little bit. Would also be interested in setting up a repository where we can share maps.

Wouldn't bin files actually belong to Guzzidiag? I know he gives them away for your personal use but storing them is different when 3rd parties start charging for tuning.

Zooter - short answer, no.

After re-flash stay the CO adjust value the same one as before.

Its possible you need a new CO adjusting with another map.

In the next day or two I will have time to play, will download the .bin file from my ECU, and will post it to the Fileshare. As far as I know it has never been modified by myself or the previous owners...

Hi, everyone.

I'm new here. I just thought I'd share my experience so far.

I downloaded tuner pro.

Then I downloaded Guzzidiag, and the 15m reader, and the XDF from their homepage.

I bought the leads. The ones that worked for me are by LONELEC. Just search ebay for Guzzidiag cable. You need to install the drivers from their website.

I'm using Windows 8, and it started straight up.

So then I connected everything up and, following the instructions on the screen, read my *bin file from the ECU. Just like that! and I'm useless with computers.

So the Program is very user friendly. Thanks to the developers!

I open up Tuner Pro. Import the XDF, import the *bin, and now I can view all the ECU maps. (2001 Rosso Mandello with 15M ECU. No Lambda).

Now the question:

What now? I've had a fiddle with filling the hole in the ignition advance, and it all seems logical. But I don't really know what I'm doing. I could work with a specialist and rack up loads of dyno time, but that might defeat the object of doing any of it myself.

So are there any baseline settings that people could reccommend? I understand the reluctance to have a *bin library to stop rogue commercial use,

My bike actually runs really nice, but it has pod filters, and after market exhaust, and they run leaner/ more retarded than ideal to get through emissions testing. Dont they? So does anyone have a suitibly modded *bin for this setup? I can PM my standard *bin, if that's any use to anyone.

Hi to all,

I have the same question, I have a PCIII installed and I what to remove it and modify the ECU.

Best regards to all!

Recently I had bought a set of cans from a member here. He had done some modifying, removing packing and basically opening the cans up a bit. When I installed them it seemed like I had lost some midrange torque (nothing scientific). Then I started messing with Tunerpro basically upping my fuel map by quantities of 5-10 (whatever these quantities are).

My question is this 5-10 too much? I seemed to fill in the flat spot at 4k nicely and midrange seems better. Spark plugs are brown and black, but nothing here is scientific. Just a dude with a laptop trying to tune this thing.

I also installed the Titanium map. It was my first go at GuzziDiag writing, and it was a simple process. Interestingly the upload only took 3 minutes against 15 minutes for the reading process. Hmm. Anyway, my "DynoArse" reckons it's fuller in the midrange. Still wondering if it's worth having a look at the ignition advance, but that might wait till the autumn, and I'll get her on the dyno for some proper comparison. Happy for now, though!

As an aside, for anyone using pod filters, have you re-sited the air temp pickup? I've mounted mine between the filter and the right throttle body.

Can the CO be adjusted without changing the map?
