bikelee Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Just another start-up or will this happen ? http://www.cycleworld.com/2013/06/04/new-moto-guzzi-liquid-cooled-v-twin-engine-work-in-progress/?cmpid=enews060613&spPod 1
Gritman Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 2015 eh? Should have finished building mine by then! Sounds just the ticket though - if they put it in a light chassis. Fingers crossed. I'd part with money for that.
docc Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Love the last line in the article; could be Moto Guzzi's tag line: "Stay Tuned . . ."
Skeeve Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Just another start-up or will this happen ? http://www.cycleworld.com/2013/06/04/new-moto-guzzi-liquid-cooled-v-twin-engine-work-in-progress/?cmpid=enews060613&spPod Well, given that it is an official Piaggio press release, I'm thinking it's a go. Probably a quick "must keep up w/ BMW's new wasserboxer!" thing to keep from losing sales for those potential buyers who set too much store by the spec sheet; by announcing this, those buyers may hold off until the Guzzi product hits the street, instead of just jumping on the new Beemer when it comes out...
GuzziMoto Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 I am looking forward to it. I am starting to feel the need for a new bike and the timing might be just right. I just hope they put the new motor in a sporting frame. I am fine with body work like the MGS01 or no fairing like the V11. And water cooling does not scare me. I have had more then a few water cooled bikes and I have found water to be reliable. I am looking forward to the new motor. I hope they get it right.
DeBenGuzzi Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 wait a tick, will this be out before or after the MGS-01 Corsa? 1
