Hawkwind is touring again this year ... including North America!!

 

The tour will feature the album Warrior on the Edge of Time ... one of my favourites ..... (as is every other album).

 

I have tickets to Toronto on October 7th.

Damn. I'm in Milwaukee and the closest they'll be is in Chicago, but I'll be in Minneapolis that day for a work conference.

BTW, I hate Chicago (mostly the traffic).

Hoping it will be the end of the season in Manitoba (where I am flying) and then fly the helicopter back to Québec (that's where the company I work for is based).

 

Otherwise it will be an airplane ticket on top of the Hawkwind ticket (cheaper than the UK .... just).

I bought my first Hawkwind album in 1974 ... I still have all the LP's up to about 1984 plus some EP's and singles. I'll be setting up the turnatable in the basement this fall if anyone wants to drop by. Don't forget the purple microdot!

Nik Turner .... Inner City Unit was a blast. I still have some of their vinyl. Then there was Nik Turners Shynx .... XITINTODAY - with Steve Hillage and Miguette Girady. Some of was recorded at the Kings tomb Inside the Great Pyramid in Egypt. Freaky ....

Stacia was a girl who showed up at the concerts in the early 70's and ....well .. just danced!!
