Guzzirider Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Own a Moto Guzzi? Fancy taking part in some parade laps around the superb Cadwell Park circuit on Saturday 28th September with some fellow Guzzisti?Moto Guzzi is the featured marque of the BHR classic races that weekend, and the parade is part of the celebration. Entries need to be in by 7th September and the cost is £15.Link to booking form: http://www.britishhistoricracing.co.uk/media/file/Cadwell%20Park%2028-29th%20September%202013%20PR5%20Parade%20Regs.pdfLast year there were 20 Laverdas- surely we can beat that! The £15 fee also gets you entry to the classic race meeting that weekend.
Guzzirider Posted September 13, 2013 Author Posted September 13, 2013 BHR have confirmed you can just turn up on the day and join in if you like, although you will probably have to pay to get into the meeting.
Admin Jaap Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 I checked ferries, but it's bloody expensive to turn up just for the day. But if I decide to show up, what time does it start?
Guzzirider Posted September 13, 2013 Author Posted September 13, 2013 Will be great to have you there Jaap. Not sure of the start time- probably in the lunchtime break of the race meeting but will let you know asap. Cheers Guy
Guzzirider Posted September 13, 2013 Author Posted September 13, 2013 Yes I was right- between 12pm and 2pm. Cheers. Guy
Admin Jaap Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Checked ferries again, but I can't find anything under € 230,- i'm afraid it's just too expensive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
sullvarni Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Christ Europe never ceases to amaze me for prices...I'm in British Columbia Canada and use our Ferries over to Vancouver Island once in a while not only do i get a seniors rate which helps and the distance Isn't as great but not any where near as expensive as your quoting...could you not take the Chunnel train or is that just as expensive to? Stu.
Guzzirider Posted September 16, 2013 Author Posted September 16, 2013 It is a long way for Jaap to go via the tunnel just for a day. Shame you can't make it Jaap but fully understandable!
Admin Jaap Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 Chunnel is a bit cheaper, but then it's twice 800 kms (about twice € 100 ,- diesel...)

luhbo Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 That was a good day out! Lots of marvellous bikes, besides standing in the shadow of the Guzzis of course. What would be my favourite? The Aermacchi perhaps? Now that you've brought the pix - this thread is even more worthless without sound Hubert
Guzzirider Posted October 14, 2013 Author Posted October 14, 2013 Well Hubert I think you ought to bring your ears to Cadwell next year and join in!
