Scura R Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 Hi I think I need (someone...) to replace the rear Wheel bearing, and while I`m at it, also the front. Can someone please confirm that 6204 2RS is the Wheel bearing for the rear (and the front?) on my 2005 v11 Scura R? I would like to have the type name(like 6204), so that I can buy them(SKF) from my local shop. Any other parts I really should order ?( BEFORE the Wheels are off), how many of each bearings for both Wheels ?, etc, please let me know. Thanks.
Tom M Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 I used SKF 6204-2RSH/C3 for the rear wheel. The front wheel with solid axle (marzocchi fork) uses a different bearing on each side: 52x 25x 15 mm = 6205-2RS52x 20x 15 mm = 6304-2RS I think your Scura has a hollow axle? If so this thread says you need a pair of 6205 bearings. http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=5680&hl=front+wheel+bearings
Scura R Posted September 4, 2013 Author Posted September 4, 2013 I have the Öhlins fork. Is that the Hollow one?
Admin Jaap Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 If it's the hollow one you can look through it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Scura R Posted September 6, 2013 Author Posted September 6, 2013 Sorry bout that What I really should have asked for is, are all the Öhlins on v11 the same, meaning they need a pair of 6205 bearings?
Admin Jaap Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 I believe the early öhlins don't have a hollow axle, but i'm not sure Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
