Cafe Sport cam issue?

Hey so, can any one shed some light on this... 05 and cams rebuilt why do you think that would be? have heard of it on earler bikes, I think.

I would think the most likely issue is that a PO let the oil level get low enough and accelerated hard enough to starve the oil pick-up.

Ok a little info from a local, the story is the oil filter came loose causing a loss of oil to the cam, ca that happen does the warning light not come on?

Clutch well aparently they are prone to cracking???

Sure, the warning light comes on to tell you there is no oil pressure and that expensive parts no longer have enough oil to prevent direct metal to metal contact. But unless you were already at idle when it happened it is likely too late to prevent at least some damage from happening.
