V11 H4 is two filament.

I ran Sylvania Silver Stars several times and got so weary of the short/unpredictable life span. I loved the fuller pattern, but could not abide the failures.

Oh, thank you for this thread... I've been looking to replace the headlight in my LeMans for 2 years.. The inner bucket on mine is just thrashed from the California sun. The LED project begins.

Andy York's excellent install. He said it wasn't exactly "plug & play."

That's not exactly what he said, but he curses so much more expertly than I.

reminds me that I still have the LED H4 plug in that didn't fit in the Guzzi Headlight bucket.  I need to install it  in my poor Bandit.  That 100wt H4 is really burning the lens after 15 years.

Thanks, my German is non-existent  :huh2:

.... so can someone summarize what was required to fit the light and how well it worked out?

Here's the model he used:

I'm interested too. I looked up the part number on Amazon, where some people said it's plug-and-play on some Harleys.

I'm not thrilled with the stock headlight and I do ride canyons at night just for fun - and now daylight "savings" time means my ride home from work will be in the dark too.

Al - are you next?  Take pics so I can copy...

He says he added 2 relays ("double relay") to keep the power from running through the switchgear, "gedreht" or "turned" an adapter ring (no details on material) and used silicon to glue it in.
