Goosed Again Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Finally got out yesterday for a real ride and it was a hoot. Long time coming and thoroughly enjoyable, I took a quick 60 mile loop around the Rogue Valley. The 2000 V11 handled so much nicer then any of my past Guzzi's by far with great acceleration and line holding stickiness. The day was beautiful and even through my full brain bucket I could hear the gentle throbbing of the Stuchci pipes, music to my ears. I had a few senior moments where, due to my past history on older Guzzi's, I would shift down instead of up. Oops, gonna have to relearn shift patterns. Was having some trouble shifting 3rd and 4th, they just required an extra kick to set into gear. Maybe with a few more miles things will settle in since the bike has been sitting for a bit. Looking forward to more rides but getting ready for a fishing trip to Alaska so for now she's parked and cleaned and awaiting the open road again.
