Solenoid help wanted

I'm looking for a US based forum member who can buy and ship me the follwing part:

Strangely enough there is no source in Europe where I can buy it seperately.
My 1200 Sport Bosch startmotor is okay. Only the solenoid needs to be replaced.

could you please contact them again and ask if they would mark the value of the ackage under $ 50- ? That way i possibly won 't have to pay import tax.

I think it is amazing that I ordered the solenoid from Colorado, (western) USA, on Tuesday and tonight (Thursday) it has already left France in transit to The Netherlands!

 

Still waiting to hear from Jaap where the unit is stamped made. It certainly would be ironic for it to have been made in France or Belgium and has made a round trip.

Agreed! Not making the solenoid available to the public is probably a marketing ploy in favour of the specialist Bosch repair service that you can find all over Europe.
