Admin Jaap Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 I can hear you you think "you idiot, you'll regret it". I probably will, but I just can't justify having two bikes and only doing 8000 kms a year... I decided to keep the 1200 sport, because it's much more allround. I sold the G-B to a family member. He's been drooling over the bike since the first time he saw it. After a test ride he decided it had to stay in the family.
Guzzirider Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Sorry to see her go Jaap but I know exactly what you mean. Am pondering whether to sell my Raceco Daytona in the Spring- one or two track days a year does not really justify keeping her. At least the GB is still within the family so you can stroke her now and then.
docc Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Fast forward some years and you may have her back . . .
Admin Jaap Posted November 23, 2014 Author Posted November 23, 2014 :-) yes. And she is only 20 miles away.
Twin AH Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Those 1200 Sports are addictive.......... just love that quiet but deadly 2 valve lump. Cheers. 1
luhbo Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 I always wished to be man enough for such decisions, to get off the dead weight ... Selling things to a close relative looks like a good exercise for beginners 1
ferguzzi Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 God, my stable keeps getting bigger. It'll be a stelvio next.
