dangerous Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 ok sick a serching, whos got a pic or 2 of the v11 engine in parts but compleat if ya know what I mean?
vuzzi Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 best option I know is the workshop manual, though it's in several pictures. Guess it is impossible to get in one.
LowRyter Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 http://www.thisoldtractor.com/mg_manuals/workshop_manual_v11_update_nl.pdf Gregory Bendor has workshop manuals posted online. Carl Allison's wiring diagrams are there too.
sp838 Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 this is the parts manual for the '02, with exploded diagrams and part numbers: http://simonpotter.tv/guzzi/spare_parts_catalog_v11_lemans_2002.pdf
JBBenson Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 When I saw the title of this thread, I thought "Oh for chrissakes, now the V11 engine just explodes?" Good to know it doesn't explode. At least, not routinely.
luhbo Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 That's a lost art what you're looking for. A CAD part or drawing might come up, maybe, but these usually are nothing worth to get framed and hanged. Hubert
dangerous Posted December 17, 2014 Author Posted December 17, 2014 I was just after the cam area, does it come out the front or do you need to split the casings (if they split) dont think its anything Im going to try
luhbo Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Only the cam area is no lost art Anyway, it's coming out on the front side - once you've removed the big and, in case of the crank shaft, slotted nuts that hold the sprockets. You'll need proper tools and a long lever. Hubert - what is the damage now? Cam and followers?
dangerous Posted December 18, 2014 Author Posted December 18, 2014 - what is the damage now? Cam and followers? suspecting so... not my bike but the troublesome cafe sport a friend has
Kiwi_Roy Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Does the cam bushing get held in by the valve lube fitting like on a loop? I'm too lazy to go and look.
