This is wonderful to be able to share and enjoy. Especially without getting my hands dirty   . . .  ;)

(Ever notice that photos of our Guzzis-in-Process always have hammers in the background?)

Hammers? People own more than one? I normally use whatever is lying around-like a ratchet, screwdriver handle, piece of wood, or a stale doughnut...

Nice job on the rebuild!

The next thing was the seat...

I have not bought a new base, I have used the old one, and with a help from my friend,  did what I wanted to do; single-seater in retro style.

Old base cut out, ready for renovation:

With the help of wire brush, mounted on angle grinder I remove the rust and old paint:

For primer I used zinc spray:

Mounting on the frame:

Sponge sanded and prepared for upholstery:

Last check before upholstering:

And after two weeks of waiting, the seat is done.

This is sooooo cool.  I've also been enjoying the occasional glimpses into your vinyl music collection.  Marshall Tucker Band... Can't You See.

True! I love the ambiance of the shop. Looking forward to glimpse of the guy behind all this!

I like vinyl and I collect it...only, I have two small children so I have to move all my LP's from living room..some to my workshop and big parts are in boxes in the attic...over the years I have accumulated a few thousand pieces...

It's funny...a lot of my friends says (now...sorry...it's a little problem to say all in good english, to make sense, but I will try...) that my place look vintage...and that I'm young in years but old in soul...

"Vintage" is a beautiful word.  Much more interesting and desirable than simply "di vecchio"      :oldgit:
