Last night had the honor of seeing the Orrin Evans Quintet, featuring Ravi Coltrane (son of John Coltrane) at Chris' Jazz Club in Philly. He's playing his father's sax. An evening to remember!

Yeow . All the good books are pricey. Is this the "autographed" book ?

Eric & Van - great together

Also listened to his chat as to the genesis of his collaboration with Van - interesting

Love Eric’s chirpy old War song collaboration too

This one goes out to some folks I haven't heard from in a while . . .

"All the telephone lines are down . . . "

There is more content in one line of a Bob Dylan song than most musc groups will sing in a lifetime .

I had the privilege of getting to know Kermit (Kermit's Chair) Easterling at biker rallyes . At this rallye which happen to be in Burkesville , we discussed Dylan in great length. I couldn't (naively) believe a man this old could be so cool as to know so much about Dylan & his philosophies.

And watching Charlie Sexton play alongside Dylan just makes it even more enjoyable!

@Guzzi-in-Vancouver posted this delightful track in another thread, but I thought it deserved a place here.

As pretty and talented as the vocalist is, I can't take my eyes off the funky, animated clarinetist! :sun:
