p6x Posted September 18 Posted September 18 For no reason I remembered this song from Umberto Tozzi and Monica Belucci; this came out in 1977 and became all the rage in France... During the vacations in the South, the whole camping had radios playing that song... listening to it today, it is obviously corny, but still, going back in time, I finally get it. You can sing it to your Monica Guzzi too! 2
LowRyter Posted September 18 Posted September 18 saw Page & Plant play "How Many More Times" in 1998. It was a little more roots based IIRC. saw Zep play "Moby @#$$#!" in 1970. Bonzo must've done 20 minutes. Green trap set wearing a matching tanktop. @KINDOY2 I know that Zep is a love'em or hate'em band. So I won't proselytize 3
activpop Posted September 19 Posted September 19 I was 10 years old when Clapton played with them. I still had a year or two to go before I made the switch from AM to FM. It was a great time to switch though. Early days of NY FM radio were groundbreaking, with some of the best radio jocks in the business. 3
gstallons Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Musicians at that time migrated from one group to the next as a part of life . There was no future only today and maybe , tomorrow. Musicians got together and jammed until they were done and played with someone else ! 2
