Funny, the common instrument makes it so easy to hear. I played them at the same time, and while not on track it makes the common elements more obvious.

I grew up on Sergio Mendez, even before I could operate the turntable. And Herb Alpert. My fav.

I cooked up a big pot of kicking chili chicken and was feeling a little south of the boarder. I think I had my Sinko-deMayo going on. It's just beginning to feel like spring up north that's why the Sergio.

With out getting too political with the current person in the white house those artists are not probably allowed in this country anymore.

Oye, they've had U.S. Passports for 40 years. 

Edit; in fact Herb Alpert was born in Los Angeles. lol

How cool is that? Herb Alpert definitely contributed a depth and class to our 70s music.
