Admin Jaap Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 Never heard of Melody Gardot, but she quite something! Here's a Dutch pop/country singer who tried to make it in the States. I like Ilse de Lange. Not only is she good singer (and a looker) but she's from the same part of NL as I am. And she's not afraid to speak our dialect on national TV.
docc Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Fabulous! I love this thread! Wow: Robben Ford "Freedom" - maybe my newest V11 anthem!
Scud Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Agreed, this is a great thread. Although it takes a long time to "read" all the posts. Something about a road trip always makes me reach for Neil Young. Here's one I like that he did with the members of Pearl Jam.

moto fugazzi Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 I just found out about this 2 piece band from the UK. No Lyrics. Instead they use samples from speeches or public service information films. Interesting concept. Public Service Broadcasting 1
