docc Posted December 10, 2022 Posted December 10, 2022 I actually grew up in an altered culture. Johnny-B-Goode, y'all!
Gmc28 Posted December 10, 2022 Posted December 10, 2022 Took my girlfriend to hear Peter Tosh (from Bob Marley) when he came to town many moons ago on his tour featuring his version of johnny b goode. She was a fine young catholic girl, easily surprised when all the lights went out, by design, to just highlight the single spark/red glow on the stage, and how the crowd went wild… 4

Remember when Lucas made great films with an ensemble cast? Actually AG 2 is perhaps even better. And there were the original Star Wars. Somehow he lost his way, the newer movies were tech heavy and the characters were no longer funny.

docc Posted December 16, 2022 Posted December 16, 2022 I posted this elsewhere, in a reply about the V11 clutch rattle. I think it deserves a place here for the guitar mastery of Richard Thompson . . . 1

ScuRoo Posted December 21, 2022 Posted December 21, 2022 Just so happens last Friday I was skanking along to some of The Specials songs being played by a Ska band Today I hear the sad news about Terry Hall 19 March 1959 - 18 December 2022 R.I.P. LowRyter Posted December 21, 2022 Posted December 21, 2022 I asked about internet radio a while back. I found a really good station in Oregon KJIV. K Jive. Plays a lot of variety that seems to flow here. A community non profit. Also listening the Aardvark recommended here. Tunein has Rockin Rhythm and Blues Radio. They also GDRADIO (Grateful Dead). So if you're into internet radio, please share. For sure check out K Jive.
