Oklahoma City Flat Track Race, June 18

Were having Flat Track on the Mile at Remington Downs in OKC, Saturday June 18th.

 

You might've seen my post on Wild Guzzi.  If not, I am putting together a campout and cookout at Lake Arcadia about 15 minute ride north of the track.

 

If you never seen a Mile Flat Track, I can tell you it's the most exciting racing there is.  Compare it to anything, Indy Cars, Moto GP, NASCAR, it's really exciting.

Ditto that! I live in Indy and the Mile is great! I stopped going only b/c they put it the same time as the state fair (at the fairgrounds) and used the infield for fair parking, and you no longer get to watch the race from there. Still good from the grand stand.

A few years ago I got to see Kenny Roberts put the TZ750 thru it's paces for an exhibition ride. He didn't hold back. Thrilling.

Yeah, I was at the Indy Mile when Kenny did 4 demo laps on that thing.  

 

That was during the 2nd MotoGP weekend at Indy.
