Orson Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 I spotted this at Moto Guareschi in Parma, Italy. A Guzzi Bellagio donor bike remade as a cafe racer 2
footgoose Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 very nice. Never heard of a Bellagio. Did we get them over here/why not?
docc Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 I understand the Bellagio was not imported to The States. This reminds me of Calijackalbob's Bellagio: http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=19352&p=211731
stewgnu Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 You don't see 'em around much- however, I did happen upon one whilst stopping for a brew on the moffat run a ways back. Looked stock i think, apart from the cans and 'bars, and very nice... Almost as nice as my v11
stewgnu Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 It seems they were brought out at the same time as the 1200- same weight-ish, smaller displacement, had the 4v head. Spose once they put 4v heads in the 12 it was kinda redundant?
docc Posted September 27, 2016 Posted September 27, 2016 Motor in the first post appears to be a 2-valve V11-type . . . but with a narrow sump and looks to be a 5 speed (?) . . . BTW, what makes a V11 motor as fitted to the Sports and LeMans etc differ from the same "looking" donk in the Cali EV/ Jackals and such of the same era?
czakky Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 I believe the v11 Cali's have smaller valves a different cam, pistons and map. Not 100% sure.
