Exhaust drip?

When you look for the ignition system arcing , use a spray bottle of water in a glass cleaner bottle .

 Spray it on the wires , plug caps , etc. & if there is arcing going on it will show up . If it does ,

 remove the wires and caps . Then check them w/an ohmmeter to see what is bad.

Could be normal valve train noise. Have you adjusted the valves?

 

Otherwise, run it in the dark and look for electrical arcing from the spark plug wires.

I have not adjusted the valves. It isn't to loud and I think I'm just not used to hearing it because my cars engine is buried in about a foot of steel (crown Victoria).
