docc Posted January 31, 2017 Author Posted January 31, 2017 Is this somehow related to your 30a fuse melting issue? Wow . . . that"s a great question. I've always thought these were separate issues? Maybe I oughtta put some heat sinks on my Nutcase Aircraft-grade 30 amp Circuit Breaker?
gstallons Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 Is there one part # that can be installed in all positions ?
Chuck Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 Any 5 pin will work in all locations. From memory (roll eye) number 1 *needs* to be a 5 pin.

From memory (roll eye) number 1 *needs* to be a 5 pin. Chuck is correct. Only Position #1 *needs* to be 5-pin. Best one to use across the board: G8HE-1C7T-R-DC12 http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/omron-electronics-inc-emc-div/G8HE-1C7T-R-DC12/Z5645-ND/2755412

docc Posted February 1, 2017 Author Posted February 1, 2017 What part # for the # 1 position ? You can use the listed high current G8HE-1C7T-R-DC-12 in all the positions The #1 position must have the "C" in the number (5-pin/ SPDT).
sp838 Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 Wow, extensive research, love it, and thank you Docc. Just ordered some. And now the GEI relays I bought to upgrade the ones that came on the bike are no longer needed

And now the GEI relays I bought to upgrade the ones that came on the bike are no longer needed Hey, you can *probably* use those GEI for an auxiliary lighting circuit without issue. And carry for spares. (I have 5 GEI in the monkey-paw trap along with a couple Bosch and a few OMRON).
docc Posted February 9, 2017 Author Posted February 9, 2017 Should this go on the compatible parts page? It should. It really should . . .
