dangerous Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 Once again thanks to V11 owner Marty he has assembled this extension for the air censor that used to plug into the airbox.Photos explain all really, ECU is now happy its reading a censor again. Marty did design it to bolt down to the old air box mount as pictured but I was concerned its right in line of the rear wheel splatter, so went up behind the battery, anywere under the tank would trape heat Ideally if it was 100mm longer behind the side of the tail piece or in the case of a LeMans forward of the fairing. 2
MartyNZ Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 Hopefully now that Nero Corsa will run just as sweetly on frosty mornings as it will on hot afternoons. It looks like you found a good place to put the sensor. The cable does come with a satisfaction guarantee, so I can add 100mm to it if you think it needs to be longer. A little tie-wrap over the plug should stop it coming undone. I think I put one in that bag of bits with the cable.
