stewgnu Posted April 10, 2017 Posted April 10, 2017 The forward balance pipe may well add gains somewhere... but does nowt fer the looks! Ha!
fotoguzzi Posted April 11, 2017 Posted April 11, 2017 Since blanking the headers for the balance pipe the sneeze/cough that i used to get when the bike wasnt under much load at low revs has gone, but there still seems a slight occassional hiccup right at the bottom of the rev range, whilst not under load. Doesnt seem a problem but curious if it can be dialled out? Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk sneeze/hiccup on my 02 (no front balance pipe) got solved with a Mistral crossover .. do you still have the stock X-over?
nobleswood Posted April 11, 2017 Posted April 11, 2017 Hiccup /hesitation on my bike was cured with a good tune up, following a page on this site. http://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=19610I also removed the crossover/front balance pipe & replaced them with headers from a 2002. Haven't noticed any problems because of that change. 3
stewgnu Posted April 11, 2017 Posted April 11, 2017 Mine required new inlet rubbers and a tps reset to cure the 3k stutter. 1
