swooshdave Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 The nice thing about Photoshop is you can make changes and they don't cost a thing! See, carbon fiber side panels and red valve covers! It was quick too! Anyone want to have some free mods? Post a large photo of your bike with your request! Sarcastic requests will be met with brutal results. 1
docc Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 You mean I could have a V11 Green Sport after all? Well now . . .
Scud Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 Hmm... is the attitude from the Scura fairing overpowering the Greenie attitude? Carbon side covers now.... but what's next? I think the exhaust hangers and the rear brake master cylinder cover should be black - you can try that in photoshop. The red covers are nice. I would try to match the red on the frame and porkchop. If your alternator cover is beat up from rocks, you could give it a coat of red along with the rocker covers.
footgoose Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 "I think the exhaust hangers and the rear brake master cylinder cover should be black" and try it with black valve covers... since it's so cheap
swooshdave Posted May 6, 2017 Author Posted May 6, 2017 I won't be able to get to this stuff until Monday but keep up the great ideas! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Scud Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 Rather than getting new carbon side covers, you can just run with a naked airbox. It lets you see a little more frame and rear spring. Removing stuff is as cheap as it gets... Another cheap mod: spray-tint the turn signal lenses - and a very light coat on the taillight if you want to subdue it a bit without losing visibility.
Rox Lemans Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 Cheapest and coolest mod ever.... Only 5$ shipped...
MartyNZ Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 Hey Swooshdave, what would my V11 Sport Naked look like with these colours? Blue and white, with red guards, and indigo ceramic on the headers, like some of the V1000 Brittens. http://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/first-rides-tests/2013/january/jan2313-mcn-rides-the-britten-v1000/ 2

A Britten-inspired V11! That's brilliant! (No pink fenders and belly pan?)

And that red is a tough color to match on a good day. But this should be close: 3
