BigBlock Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Nicky Hayden passes away at 35. Sad to hear this. R.I.P Nicky http://www.motogp.com/en/news/2017/05/22/nicky-hayden-passes-away/228157
czakky Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 A lot of sad news lately. Total surprise, always seemed like a positive upbeat guy such a bummer.
GuzziMoto Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 Other then his accent, he was a great ambassador of the sport. Sad news indeed.
bbolesaz Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 I was at Laguna Seca in 2005 when he won his 1st MotoGP. It was quite a day and he was great with the fans. He's the last American MotoGP champion, and given the sad state of road racing in America, will likely keep that title for many years to come.
Bbennett Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 I am a big fan of his and have followed the sad event of his bicycling accident in Italy closely. Saw him win at Laguna Seca. He was a friendly fellow and a dedicated competitor.
