docc Posted May 28, 2017 Posted May 28, 2017 This one has been off and on quite a lot over the years, so unknown if it's back on the way it started . . . (edit: Actually, this is way it is pictured in the Workshop Manual, section L-4, pg 6)
LeMaynes Posted May 29, 2017 Author Posted May 29, 2017 Thanks! That answers a lot. Pictures are really worth 1000 words. Btw, dig the rope light ambiance. #guzziromance ...jk. im not on twitter. 1
docc Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Heh, a Work of Art deserves gallery lighting and a proper plinth . . .
czakky Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 Plinth, had to google it. Docc, your vernacular is spectacular.
docc Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 . . . your vernacular is spectacular. That-there is rhyminiscent!
voycie Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Just purchased my Mistral xover directly from Mistral as the stock xover has a small crack in it so seemed a good excuse. Looking forward to fitting and seeing if it makes any difference Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk
docc Posted May 31, 2017 Posted May 31, 2017 Let's all be aware that this thread is about the factory center exhaust hanger. While it is shown fitted to the factory "crossover" (*expansion chamber*), it is used for several of the aftermarket crossovers, but not all.
LeMaynes Posted June 1, 2017 Author Posted June 1, 2017 All good docc. Back on track with this question. Is the #16 spacer above the silent block rubber? There is quite a gap to fill. I plan to make it from Delrin and not just stack washers.

LeMaynes Posted June 1, 2017 Author Posted June 1, 2017 Is it rubber was my question. I imagine it has a hole all the way through not like the rubber silent block with the metal ends pressed in.
docc Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 Ah - yeah it is "rubber", but appears to have a higher durometer (stiffer) than the Silent Block.
LeMaynes Posted June 17, 2017 Author Posted June 17, 2017 Just found this in the service manual. I have been through it multiply times and don't know how I never seen it.
