I put a Dayco 80413 heater hose on my Scura in 2017. Been on there since and still looks good. The late arriving Guzzi part is in the spares box, waiting, waiting.

This bike has only 5,000 miles. There is no noticeable gear wear. But I do think it's worth removing as much rust as possible from the output shaft. I'll remove the rust from the driveshaft too - then
