docc Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 After eight weeks on the lift, it was nice to find the Sport some respectable V-twin company! 2
czakky Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Super respectable! Three Guzzis and a 1940s (?) Indian. Glad to see you back in action.
Scud Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 ...and bonus points for making the BMW GS park with the cars across the street. 1
docc Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 How's the fresh clutch anyway Docc? Aw, man, feels GREAT! Even with all the worn teeth, the noise at idle is minimal. With the LuckyPhil/Chuck-made Shift Extender® in place and everything clean and fettled, plus the replacement slave ( that Scud got from Unkept's V11 and sent to Andy), the shifts are so crisp and quick. 120 miles today through the hills and along the creeks. Felt great! First time out, another foot bail let go on the sidestand . So, I repurposed the failed clutch input hub retention washer . . . 1

coreytrevor Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 What the heck is that building? Do the doors slide on that concrete structure?

swooshdave Posted August 17, 2017 Author Posted August 17, 2017 WWII Blimp hanger in Tillamook, Oregon. Now home of the Air Museum. I'll put the video together in a few days and you get to see the scale of this place. About 15 stories tall. 7 acres of floor space. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tillamook_Air_Museum Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
JRD Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 Swooshdave -WOW, just Wow!!!!! Thanks for posting that. Jerry
swooshdave Posted August 17, 2017 Author Posted August 17, 2017 That's the Mini Guppy, built on a StratoCruiser. The perspective doesn't show it but that plane is tiny compared to the building. TINY. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aero_Spacelines_Mini_Guppy
Chuck Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 You are likely to get burnt for that, Docc. Italian ladies tend to not be terribly forgiving of a wandering eye..
