Springfield Mile

Labor Day Sunday is the Mile Flat Track at Springfield Ill.  I've been to the race a couple of times and heading back this year. It's the most exciting motorcycle racing on the planet.  

 

A few of us on Wild Guzzi are heading back this year.  

 

The deal I am in is at the Doubletree Hotel.  For $215, you get a room for 2, 2 tickets to the race and 2 T-shirts.  Unfortunately I am sharing a room with local guy Darren rather than my usual roommates, Kristen Stewart and her girlfriends.  But Darren is a much better riding buddy than Kristen (too many stops to check her make up) and we'll be buzzing through the Ozarks on the way.  

So I guess Darren is the best roommate.      

 

Anyway, if you're free on Labor Day, you couldn't do better, even if you don't get the Doubletree deal.
