got my spring today.

Looking at it, am I right to say that the diameter of the wire is smaller but it has an extra loop in the spring?

"Almost" an extra loop.  :) This gives a little preload for more pressure on the upshift.

Got mine today, too. Busy right now, but shortly I'll put it on the test fixture and run it until the spring or test setup blows up. :rasta:

Status report:

77 springs sold, which is enough for me to recover the money I spent up front.

Still have about 80 left and will post an ad over on WildGuzzi soon.

I've moved the test rig up here so we don't have to listen to it clacking away in the shop.

The "production" spring is coming up on a half million cycles.   I'll let it run a while longer, but am pretty sure it is unbreakable.  :mg:

12 super springs arrived to my doorstep this morning. That's great parcel post service, across the Pacific so quickly.

Thanks again Scud and Chuck.  :notworthy:

For NZ people, I have 4 firm orders from this forum members, and 5 orders from more normal Kiwis.

So that leaves 4 still available.
