This movie was talked about in this thread so I thought I would give it it's own thread.

From what I understand the restoration of the movie was a Kickstarter project:

You can rent the movie on Vimeo here:

You can purchase the DVD here:

And to make it more fun the movie has been submitted to the Portland Motorcycle Film Festival, of which I'm one of the founders and help put on the event. I was able to screen the movie last night to see if it is worthy, and boy, I had a hoot. The best part was all of the vintage bikes (Guzzi, Gilera, Norton, BMW and more!) and lots of racing. The rest is 1950's Italian melodrama which seems campy now but I didn't care! I'm pushing hard to get it into the festival and it will be awesome to see it on the 50ft screen!

In the post-credits I recognized a few of the names. If you supported the film let us know!

Here's more info on the film festival:

We raise thousands of dollars each year to buy safety equipment for the local road racing club. Plus we get to share great motorcycle films with fellow motorcyclists.

Here's an article about the film festival:

That is so cool that you help put that on.

This movie got the Melissa Holbrook Pierson stamp of approval, which is good enough for me.

Very nice event - cool that you are involved as a founder, watching some of the trailers over the next few days.

I've got the same little model of the V8 that Melissa was holding.  I'm too lazy to post a photo of it but it was  about $6 on ebay.

I was looking for 1/12 scale model but it was way too much for the glue bomb that I'd make a such a mess.

The link to buy comes with a 'possible unsafe site' warning. Is there another way to buy? Do you know the price? Do you know if it's sub-titled, dubbed, or still Italian?

thanks Dave, looks great

No idea. I believe they are being sold out of Italy so it's always risky! Shore up your browser, use a burner credit card and go for it!

Make sure you have access to a multi region DVD player. Some euro DVDs don’t play on ‘Murican players.

Otherwise most computers work too.
