JBBenson Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 Docc’s right. Once you know the steps, a quick tune is very easy, and the bike always runs better afterward, even if everything seemed in spec. Could also be my imagination......kind of like noticing the bike also runs better after detailing it. No, it really does! 1
r3datom9 Posted January 20, 2018 Author Posted January 20, 2018 Right! Thanks for all your help, will keep this thread updated as I get this completed. 6k for a tune seems to be right where I am at. I think the pre owner was done riding this one and didn't want to spend more money getting a tune done. He had a pretty nice stable and he said it was time for this one to go. More than happy to have regardless of the state of tune, the built motor feels worlds different than my stock Greenie. Was really looking for a Cafe Sport, but I feel I ended up with the right one and it will be fun to get a little more in touch and do the tune myself. 2
