swooshdave Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 Who wants to flatten out the intake port on their V11 Sport now? 1
stewgnu Posted January 22, 2018 Author Posted January 22, 2018 Me! Me! I’m just off out to buy some sugru!
footgoose Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 Very interesting. Simple solutions for the non-racer, and some for the racer. Wouldn't changing the "O" port to a "D" port require a ramp of some sort, or is that ledge which creates the "tumble"?
JRD Posted January 23, 2018 Posted January 23, 2018 I wish I had deep pockets. REALLY, REALLY deep pockets filled with those hunert dollar bills!

I suspect you also need to modify the intake to match the flattened floor, unless that hard step is what causes the tumble. All stuff above my pay grade.

docc Posted January 24, 2018 Posted January 24, 2018 Kinda want to get some porting done now.... Start upstream!
stewgnu Posted January 24, 2018 Author Posted January 24, 2018 Me! Me! I’m just off out to buy some sugru! "sugru?" Sorry! Just my little joke, sugru is a mouldable, setting putty stuff. Thought it’d be amusing to imagine someone performing port-alteration-work with it. I was wrong. Apologies.

Seems to be sold everywhere. Probably work for porting if it stayed in place.
