No V11 valve covers? Seems there would be separate part numbers for each color used over the run. What part number are you looking for?

Any. None left at guzzi, none to be found thru suppliers. Had to grab a second hand set to re-finish.

Is this surprising? Are the newest V11S about 15 years old?

I recall, some years back (perhaps about the time Piaggio took on Moto Guzzi) it was "reported" that all of the spares were sold off. Some said HMB-Guzzi in Germany got them all.

 

Perhaps this was just some urban legend. Or was there some truth to it?

There are covers available for earlier models that are much, much older than the v11

any square fin 2 valve rocker covers will fit. so from the Cal2 thru the last EV..

I've got a pair of polished alloy ones spare

I know that the V11 valve covers will fit a 2 valve CARC motor, like a Griso 1100. So I would think a CARC 1100 valve cover would fit a V11 motor. In fact, I think someone has already done it. It looks different, but it should fit.

Damn they’re cool. Too late as i’ve grabbed steve’s old set of shiny ones. But good to be aware of the alternatives as i seem to fall of periodically.
