Just a feeling but.... I think this style is in for a new appreciation..     and lovely head guards btw

Yes, it is pretty. Just FWIW, but in my opinion, those head guards might cause more damage than they would save. Hit the outside hard enough, and it will more than likely strip the threads and break the valve cover at the minimum. Back in the day, before anyone else made them for the Centauro, I designed some that were *sacrificial.* I know of two sets that saved the cylinder/valve cover when sliding down the road. The guards were toast, though.
